In the past few hours, the start of filming for Season 4 of Mare Fuori has been announced, the current series currently broadcast on RAI 2
Among the TV series of the moment we certainly cannot fail to mention Mare Fuori, an Italian television series produced by RAI Fiction and Picomedia of which the first two seasons are available on Netflix, the third is still Rai Play exclusive. Just yesterday evening, 22 March, the last two episodes of the third season were aired on RAI 2, which we will certainly tell you about shortly in a dedicated review. And it’s actually February’s news that the series has already been officially renewed for a fourth season, albeit with decisive cast changes (which we won’t tell you about in this article, obviously to avoid spoilers).
Among characters who come and go, great returns and sad farewells, therefore Mare Fuori 4 will take place. In the past few hours, the start period of filming for the fourth season has also been confirmed: May 2023. Obviously we will not see the new episodes before 2024, in an estimated period between February and April. The director, Ivan Silvestrini, shared the photo of the first page of the screenplay on his Instagram profile on 11 March.

For those who have not yet approached Mare Fuori, this is the plot in brief:
The life of a group of boys from the IPM (Juvenile Penalty Institute) and of the adults who manage it between threats, loves, escapes, school exams, football matches, fights, falls into hell and unexpected resurrections. The story of Mare fuori begins with the arrest of Carmine Di Salvo and Filippo Ferrari, two boys who seem to have nothing in common until the day they are taken to the juvenile prison in Naples. The first comes from a Camorra family from which he wants to escape and dreams of being a hairdresser; the second is the son of a wealthy family in Milan, is a promising pianist and was on vacation in the city with three friends. If the former is used to the rules of the criminal world in which he finds himself involved upon his arrival in prison, the latter falls into a world that is completely foreign to him with which he is unable to come to terms or even communicate.
