The rumors are confirmed: the Marvel Rivals shooter is a reality, has a first trailer and will also include an alpha test phase in May
Just yesterday we talked about the rumors regarding a possible shooter from the House of Ideas, and as predicted Marvel Rivals revealed itself in the first trailer exactly with this name, also confirming a phase of alpha test in two months. NetEase Games he is therefore cooking for a new one shooter (in third person, understandably) in teams of six. The title is available on PC with a limited trial period of maggio, and will include heroes including Spider-Man, Hulk, the Avengers (or Avengers, for us old Italian fans), the X-Men, the Guardians of the Galaxy and others. The Marvel Rivals trailer: what to expect from the alpha test?
In the (closed) alpha test in May we can expect from Marvel Rivals different abilities for each of the heroes present in the trailer. There are also combined skills (called team-up, in honor of the term officially used in the same comics to describe the pairings) for further chaos. The latter range from Rocket Raccoon on Groot's shoulders to fire on enemies, or Iron Man's technology corroborated by Hulk's gamma rays (although inconsistent with the comic book canon, ed.). The maps announced include Asgard and Tokyo 2099 (from the futuristic alternate universe), with environments destructible in “countless ways”. Predictably, we can expect post-launch “seasons” with new heroes and maps, but we have no confirmation on the console front.
