The shift to electric is taking shape not only with conventional models, but also with sports cars that will play a key role. In this context Mercedes-AMG didn’t want to let too much time pass and unveiled his second electric sports car, the Mercedes-AMG EQE.
The Mercedes-AMG EQE will be available in two variants, one EQE 43 4Matic it’s a EQE 53 4Matic +. The first will be powered by two electric motors that will allow it to have AWD traction and which they will develop together 469 hp and 633 Nm of torque . The transition from 0-100 km / h will be carried out in 4.2 seconds and its maximum speed is limited to 210 km/h.
The power of this variant comes from a battery from 90,6 kWh which promises to give it an autonomy of between 460km and 530km per charge . It will also have fast charging capability through a 170kW charger, which could give it up to 180km of range in just 15 minutes.
The second version – and the most powerful EQE prepared by AMG – will be the EQE 53 4Matic +. In this case, its electric motors will be able to produce 617 hp and 701 Nm of torque . With these figures, the 0-100 km / h is reduced to 3.5 seconds and the maximum speed rises to 220 km/h . Additionally, the 4Matic + transmission system prioritizes sending power to the rear axle for a more traditional rear-wheel drive sports sedan feel.
If the above figures aren’t enough, Mercedes-AMG offers the AMG Dynamic Plus package which allows you to increase power to 677 hp and 737 Nm of torque, lowering the 0-100 km / h at 3.3 seconds and increasing the speed to 240 km / h.
For this variant of greater power the autonomy is modified to be between 440 km and 510 km per charge. It should be noted that in the driving modes, those focused on sporty driving will do everything possible to maintain maximum performance, while the other modes focused on comfort and efficiency, will consequently reduce power consumption by between 15% and 20%. .in mode to maximize range.

The Mercedes-AMG EQE will have several model-specific suspension elements for better control of both weight transfer and roll, plus an optional air suspension.
