While Snake Eater is busy being reborn with the Delta subtitle, in fact, another videogame gestation has been proceeding for “several years”. Or at least, that’s what the foreign newspaper’s sources say Areajugonesas the latest among the “ambitious projects” of Konamidelegated for obvious reasons to Bluepoint Games.

The remake you don’t expect (to see outside of PS5): the return of the original Metal Gear Solid
We can expect some time to pass before we have official confirmations, but for now we limit ourselves to reiterating the two things confirmed by the foreign sector press: the development of a remake of Metal Gear Solid, and its fidelity to PS5. It would be the second restoration for Hideo Kojima’s magnum opus after The Twin Snakes, released on Nintendo GameCube in the early 2000s (and edited by Kojima himself). What is certain is that Konami, after its “no period” away from the videogame industry as such, seems to have finally recovered completely. Of course, all that remains is to wait for an official announcement, and if the rumors are reliable we can only imagine that even Sony itself is trembling as much as the fans of good old Snake.
