A post-apocalyptic awakening: the latest rumor on the possible State of Play gives a subtitle to the new Metro, entitled “Awakening”

Metro Awakening, reveal trailer in the State of Play: just rumor or actual leak?
The initial announcement from 4A Games consists of a simple single-player game in the Metro series, dating back to 2020, with a story influenced by the Russian invasion on Ukrainian soil: now, the new rumor predicts that the alleged Awakening will be revealed in the equally hypothetical State of Play. Last August, the editorial team of Insider Gaming has reported full development, with “continuous” tests throughout the year just ended. The game will likely release this year, with a release window in the first trailer. However, unlike the PC and PS5 platforms, the release on Xbox Series. The development team is “actively experimenting with concepts for multiplayer through which you can interact with the game world in a new way”, despite the “dedication to single-player experiences”.
