In fact, according to a rumor, the announcement of a new title in the Metro series could arrive by the end of this year.
New rumors about the next chapter of the Metro series
It seems that a fourth new chapter in the Metro series is in the pipeline, according to some recent rumors that have emerged on the net. The source of the latter is Insider Gaming (a site not new to leaks and previews regarding the gaming world), on which the journalist Tom Henderson has published a report containing what appear to be rather interesting new potential information regarding the hypothetical Exodus sequel (of which, if you missed it, you can find our review at this link).
According to these declarations, in fact, the new title not yet announced would already be in playable form, and therefore in a forwarded development phase. Therefore 4A Games, the software house currently working on the game, would be planning a reveal by the end of the current year, with a launch expected during 2024. As always in these cases, obviously the advice is to take it with a grain of salt such news, as it is currently unconfirmed rumors. All that remains is to wait for official statements from the developers, which will in all probability arrive over the next few months.
