In an article published in Windows Central, the well-known journalist Jesus Corden says he has heard “tentative” and “unverifiable” rumors that Microsoft would be planning an event in the first quarter of 2023which would have a similar nature to the previous ones Xbox Games Showcase and may include new announcements and updates on upcoming titles.
Lately, Aaron Greenbergan executive of Microsoft’s gaming division, said, regarding the community’s widespread disappointment with Microsoft’s absence from The Game Awards, that the company had “a lot planned to show and share for an incredibly exciting year ahead for 2023“, and that fans wouldn’t have to “wait too long” for more details on that front.
Since the launch of Forza Motorsport, Redfall e Starfield is currently expected in the first half of 2023Microsoft is likely to step on the gas pedal with regards to marketing for all three titles in the coming weeks and months. Meanwhile, other upcoming Xbox titles, such as Perfect Dark, Fable and Avowed, have been off the media radar for a while and fans are certainly hoping to hear more about them.
