Details on the new NUCX17 and NUCX15 mini PCs
Minisforum will launch two new mini PCs with chip Intel denominated NUCXI5 e NUCXI7. Both will share the same case design, equipped with a discrete graphics card, and will come with a port Thunderbolt for exceptional gaming performance. The Minisforum NUCXI5 is equipped with CPU Intel Core i5-11400H e GPU NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060. The Intel Core i5-11400H is a high-end Hexa-core SoC that was announced in mid-2021. It belongs to the family Tiger Lake H45. It has 6 cores and 12 threads and can be boosted up to 4.5 GHz. The CPU offers 12 MB L3 cache and supports DDR4-3200 memory. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Mobile is an Ampere graphics card announced in 2021. It is based on the GA106 Ampere chip and offers 6GB of GDDR6 graphics memory.
The other, Minisforum NUCXI7, uses an even more powerful CPU and GPU that it is Intel Core i7-11800H e NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070. The Intel Core i7-11800H is a high-end Octa-core SoC that was also announced in mid-2021. It has 8 cores and 16 threads that can be boosted up to 4.6 GHz. The CPU offers 24 MB of cache. level 3 and supports DDR4-3200 memory. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Mobile was also announced in 2021. It offers 8GB of GDDR6 graphics memory with a 256-bit memory bus.
Dimensions
Both computer sizes are only 80 mm x 260 mm x 394 mm. They totally support up to 64 GB of dual channel DDR4 memory. They have two slots PCIe M.2 2280 for storage expansion and can be connected to 2 monitors simultaneously using 1 HDMI port and 1 Thunderbolt 4 port. If purchased with storage, they will come with Windows 11 pro pre-installed.
