The trailer of The Lord of the Rings Gollum presented on the occasion of Nacon Connect 2021 does not just show us the gameplay passages of the game: inside it we can also listen to the presentation of the title of Harald Riegler, one of the producers of Daedalic Entertainment. In his explanation, Riegler places particular emphasis on the work of reconstruction of the environments of Middle-earth accomplished by the development team. In addition, the video shows us for the first time the appearance of some of the characters we will meet in the game, among which we also find well-known faces, such as that of the sorcerer Gandalf.
Also through the trailer, we learn that the game will be based on a gameplay which takes inspiration from the classic titles of the genre action adventure, which will however be integrated with features deriving from stealth and parkour. To complete the identity of the title there will then be the particular attention placed on his narrative component. There have been no updates regarding the release date of the title which, according to the latest updates, should be distributed during 2022.
