A day full of important releases today, September 10: among the most important we certainly find NBA 2K22, finally available on all platforms
If the world of videogame football has always seen FIFA and PES in sharp contrast, that of basketball is given in “monopoly” to the boys of 2K Games. We candidly admit that last year the NBA 2K series had to contend with a poorly managed and ill-thought cross-gen title, plagued by many technical problems and, inevitably, a long list of criticisms. This year the developers of Visual Concepts instead they worked on two different versions of the game, with different characteristics and based on the reference hardware. And now we no longer have to talk about it theoretically, considering that the new chapter is finally available from today, September 10, on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S.
The additions promised by 2K Games are aimed at both improving the gameplay and the actual content of the game. NBA 2K22 has been updated with many new game features, both in attack and defense. The shot indicator that last year infuriated fans this year has been made more accurate and functional, new chained feints have been introduced and also a new challenge system. All, of course, with the aim in mind of aiming as much as possible at realism.

As it is obvious that it is in a “game as a service”, also this year the Seasons are back in the new chapter of the NBA 2K series. The seasons will each last six weeks and there is no Battle Pass of any kind. Lots of prizes for each season and an exclusive finale that, for the first season, has already been confirmed will be a special version of Carmelo Anthony. The City is also back for the current-gen version of the title (and the Beach for the last-gen) with lots of news and a new quest system to earn exclusive rewards. All this, of course, apart from the classic modes to which NBA 2K has now accustomed us over the years.
