There are just over ten days left for the official release of the highly anticipated chapter of the NFS saga. Need For Speed Unbound will come out December 2nd and, while waiting to get behind the wheel, the game announced today the partnership con Balmainpopular Parisian luxury fashion house.
The result of the collaboration will be an exclusive lNFS x Balmain branded footwear line. These will be released both in digital form (in the game), and in real life. The release of the line will coincide with the release of the videogame.
“The collaboration is based on the main themes of the game: representation, inclusiveness and freedom of expression” revealed the publisher EA and the developer Criterion Games in a press release.

The Need for Speed Unbound x Balmain collaboration brings a new and special version of the shoes to the footwear capsule collection B-IT Slider of the fashion house. It is a’very limited edition (100 pairs only) of the new design. They will be available in digital version on December 2nd, from day one of the game. The physical footwear will instead be available for purchase on Balmain.com from 14 December.
However, footwear is not the only fruit of the partnership. The two realities also collaborated on the outfit of the character of Eleanor, the villain of the game. This will wear a special dress specially designed by Balmain, belonging to the Fall 2022 collection. Finally, players will be able to collect four items of Balmain clothingincluding a jacket, jeans and B-IT Sliders.
Need For Speed Unbound will be released on December 2, 2022 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via EA app, Origin, Steam and Epic Games Store at a price of €69.99 (for the Standard Edition) and €79.99 (for the Deluxe Edition ). In the meantime, EA has unveiled all the songs that will make up the game’s soundtrack.
