Square Enix has confirmed the rumors of the past few hours by announcing that from tomorrow a playable demo version of Neo: The World Ends With You will be available on PS4 and Nintendo Switch
Square Enix has recently turned, in the creation of its new IPs, towards Marvel and superhero themed video games. Just think of the recent Marvel’s Avengers and Marvel’s Guardians of The Galaxy to understand that now the company is no longer just the forge of classic JRPG that we knew in the past. Of course, Final Fantasy VII Remake is dated 2020 and is more than recent, and there is also Neo: The World Ends With You, a sequel to the now classic The World Ends With You originally released in 2007 on the Nintendo DS as exclusive and then revisited with the Final Remix version for Nintendo Switch in 2018.
In the past few hours, Square Enix has announced that starting tomorrow 25 June we will be able to try the game with a free trial version downloadable on both PlayStation 4 and Nintendo switch. The demo will put us in the shoes of the protagonist Rindo, surrounded by the usual cast of peculiar and colorful characters, struggling with the Game of Demons. With the occasion, Square Enix has also released the final trailer for Neo: The World Ends With You which you can find right below.

The demo will allow us to try the game in its first two chapters and the progress made in the free trial version will then be transferable to the final version of the game. Knowing the type of game and reminding us of the first The World Ends With You, probably these first two chapters will be just a first start to the title and will therefore not allow us to explore the mechanics so thoroughly. However, we will be curious to try it and bring you, why not, a nice preview.
Final trailer and demo of Neo: The World Ends With You are available, with the game’s release date set for July 27th on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The PC version will be available via the Epic Games Store later this summer. What do you think of this IP god Square Enix? Did you play the first TWEWY?
