A collaboration between Netflix and Waze is born in view of the release of the animated film The monster of the seas on the streaming platform
On Friday 8 July, the animated film makes its debut on Netflix The monster of the seas and to celebrate its release, the digital platform has partnered with the popular free navigation app Waze. Users who use the app can in fact enjoy a totally new driving experience, with the Waze Mood and navigation pointer presented in a completely new guise, inspired by the movie coming out on Netflix. Netflix and Waze: the initiative for The Monster of the Seas
Starting Friday July 8 therefore, release date of the cartoon, it will be possible to use Waze with the new graphics. The theme is dedicated to the new Netflix film and its protagonists, from the famous monster hunter Jacob Holland to the young Maisie Brumble, passing through the many sea and land creatures that appear in the film.
Waze users will be able to choose between three Moods: Blue, Yellow and Red, each inspired by the cartoon’s fantasy creatures. To choose your Mood just open the “My Waze” area, select your username and open the appropriate section. Furthermore, with this dedicated update, users can also customize the navigation icon, replacing it with a lifeboat. Again, simply access “My Waze”, then progressively select “Settings”, “Map view” and “Car icon” and that’s it.

Monster of the Seas is an animated film produced and distributed by Netflix, made by the Academy Award-winning director Chris Williamsthe signature of two Disney classics such as Oceania and Big Hero 6.
