OnePlus has initiated the release of a new update for the OnePlus 8 range. In these hours, in fact, the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro are receiving the 11.0.8.8 version of Oxygen OS while the 8T is recording the arrival of the 11.0.10.10 version. The update being distributed in these hours introduces the same news for the owners of one of the OnePlus smartphones indicated above. Let’s see what are the innovations introduced by the update.
New update for the OnePlus 8 series
The new update introduces the Android security patch updated in the month of August 2021 and a series of corrective measures aimed at system stability improvement. Also noteworthy is the correction of the problems with the navigation gestures that emerged previously.
Among the novelties there is also the screenshot function for AOD. For owners of OnePlus 8 series smartphones, there is also an optimization of the portrait mode effect that can be activated using the front camera of the smartphones.
Thanks to this new update, therefore, there will be an improvement in performance, greater stability and an increase in the level of security.

The Ambient Display records the introduction of Bitmoji AOD, co-designed with Snapchat. This new function will “animate” the Ambient Display with the user’s Bitmoji avatar. Users will be able to manage the function from Settings – Personalization – Clock on ambient display – Bitmoji.
