Through a press release, Square Enix today announced that it has published Nier Automata The End of Yorha Edition, the Nintendo Switch version of Yoko Taro’s title: let’s see together the launch trailer
Yoko Taro has always been a very eclectic author, he has always put a lot of himself in his works and the latter, in a certain sense, have always been a mirror of it. Not everyone has been able to appreciate his video games over time, and it is normal in such deeply authorial titles, but there is no doubt how much Nier Automata, the last chapter of the series released on the market before the Replicant remake, has been able to shake up the industry and elevate the series from the world of “niche video games”. Via a press release, Square Enix today announced the arrival of Nier Automata The End of YoRHa Edition, the 2017 edition of the video game created specifically for Nintendo Switch.
After 6.5 million copies sold since its release, Nier Automata is now playable for the first time on Nintendo’s hybrid console, wherever you want thanks to its portability. Developed by PlatinumGames in collaboration with Square Enix, the title directed by Yoko Taro manages to offer a good mix of action gameplay and role-playing, with a compelling, reflective story in the background. The port on Nintendo Switch was developed by Virtuos and we can therefore return to accompany 2B, 9S and A2 in a risky mission to reconquer a world abandoned by humanity. On the occasion, Square Enix has also released a launch trailer, which you can find below.
