In fact, we will have to discover new “recipes” to build objects and homes, find the necessary materials and place them on the map. The interesting part is that the equipment does have standard requirements, but depending on the materials used we can alter its specifications. Using rarer and more effective materials will radically change the characteristics of a piece of equipment giving us an edge over the game world.

We have many objects available; we will start from banal spears and simple clothes up to complex firearms, elegant clothes, umbrellas for gliding and magical weapons capable of unleashing exceptional powers. Cast your Nightingale card

Nightingale

One of the most interesting mechanics of Nightingale is certainly the card and portal system. As anticipated, the journey through the portals will world us in ever-changing worlds but we will be the ones to choose the characteristics through the use of magic cards. These are divided into Biome, Major and Minor cards.

  • Biome Card: this card allows you to choose the biome that will characterize the world in which we will adventure. There are currently three: Forest, Desert and Swamp. Each biome corresponds to unique environmental characteristics, creatures and resources
  • Major Letter: determines the general level of challenge we will find in the new world
  • Minor Letter: this is an optional type of card that adds a series of effects to the world we are going to visit. We will be able to change small graphic aspects, such as the color of the sky or alter the gravity of that specific world to be able to jump higher. They are currently in the game 50 diverse carte minor

This of the cards is one of the most original mechanics that differentiates Nightingale from other Open Worlds out there. With such a vast possibility of combinations, we can create ever-changing “games” and ever-new worlds. This is also thanks to procedural generation of the worlds used in Nightingale. Even with the same cards, we will never have one world the same as another.

From a technical point of view..

The game boasts one Particularly pleasant cartoonish graphic style and enriched by truly excellent animations and plays of light and shadow.
