Tonight the new Nintendo Direct of September 2021 was held and during the event Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak was announced

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak è a great expansion which will enrich the last chapter of the Monster Hunter series with a huge amount of content. This DLC will indeed add to the game new monsters, equipment, maps and of course missions.
For the moment only one has been published short teaser trailer of Sunbreak, but from the video we can already see some very interesting things. The first element that catches the eye is obviously the new elder dragon which, a bit like it happened with the Velkana in Iceborne, it will probably represent this expansion. Furthermore, from the general tone of the trailer and the few excerpts of the setting that we were able to see, it seems that this expansion will have a gothic theme with references likely references to vampires.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak sarà available for Nintendo Switch in the summer of 2022, but at the moment we don’t know a more precise release date yet.
