On July 16 in Rome, Nato he demonstrated all his talent starting from third position. Thanks to a brilliant overtaking in the first laps, the French driver maintained a competitive pace up to the finish line. On the other hand, Nato’s teammate, Sacha Fenestraz had less luck, being forced to make a pit stop due to a technical problem, which relegated him to sixteenth position.
In the Saturday race, which took place on July 15th, Nato recovered 4 positions compared to his qualifying position and finished the race in seventh place. On the other hand, Fenestraz had a good start starting from third position, but due to the red flag and the operational stoppage, he finished the race in tenth place.
Norman Nato commented: “I’m very happy with Sunday’s performance. We were satisfied with qualifying but we knew it would be more difficult in the race. I had a good feeling with the car all the time, it was low on energy but I handled it well. The strategy was perfect, we fought hard and that shows the progress we made as a team during the season. Scoring points both days was great. We will enjoy this race and look to keep pushing for London at the end of the month.”
