The Japanese company unveils the new Nissan Qashqai SUV which features a complete restyling of the historic model

The Japanese car manufacturer has unveiled the new one Nissan Qashqai 2024 model focusing on a restyling both externally and internally. Nissan Qashqai continues to be the point of reference for C-segment crossovers for the Italian market, with almost more than 7,000 examples sold in the first quarter of 2024. Just over three years after the launch of the third generation model, the Japanese brand is changing the concept of this car.

Starting from the differences with the previous models, we immediately notice a radical change in the front where Nissan abandons the classic grille called “V-Shape” in favor of a more fashionable large grill. The lighting, however, changes only partially with the lights maintaining the boomerang shape but with a much wider angle. Outside the car we find elements satin chrome, redesigned 17″ and 20″ wheels. The new Nissan Qashqai will be sold to the public with a total of 13 different colors.

New Nissan Qashqai 2024

The new Nissan Qashqai has a length of 4.43 m, a width of 1.85 m, is 1.62 m high and has a very large boot capable of holding up to 504 liters. In the passenger compartment, however, we do not find any substantial changes compared to previous models but we can admire the new finishes that cover the car embellished with Alcantara. But the biggest news is present in the technological sector. We have the new system Around View Monitor which offers an improved breadth of vision through the four cameras and of which eight views can be selected.

The mode is also convenient “invisible bonnet” which allows you to have a clear perception of the position of the wheels. We also see the new feature Reversing Detector which detects rear traffic and above all l’Event Data Recording, a sort of black box that stores the data of the last hours spent behind the wheel. On the connectivity front, here too we find a welcome innovation: the presence of services Google like Google Play and Google Assistant activated with the phrase “Hey Google”, alternatively you can use the Apple Siri assistant. Engine chapter practically unchanged compared to the previous range with a 1.3 turbo petrol engine with mild hybrid technology and power of 140 or 158 hp. The most powerful version, however, is the e-Power version, a full hybrid version with an electric motor and a 1.85 kWh battery, which releases 190 HP.
