The return of the historic saga has been announced for Switch: let’s see together the release date of Oddworld Collection
Oddworld is today remembered as one of the historical sagas of the video game world. The first chapter, Abe’s Oddysee, originally released in 1997, marked the beginning of a saga still highly appreciated by fans today. Not everyone knows, however, that initially the idea was to make one pentalogy, a project that was never completely completed (the main chapters of the original saga to date are 3). With the relaunch of the series in 2014, which took place thanks to the remake of the first chapter Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty !, the pentalogy project was restarted, with the second chapter, Oddworld: Soulstorm, scheduled for this 2021. This collection will be a collection of the 3 main chapters of the original saga: therefore there will be Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty! (replacing the original Abe’s Oddysee version), Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee e Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath. The 3 games were already present in the Switch catalog, but they necessarily had to be purchased separately: now, thanks to this new edition, players will be able to enjoy all three titles at a definitely affordable price.
