Twitch is one of the digital platforms that has evolved the most over the past few years. In this case, we are talking about an all-Italian research conducted by SOPRISM for the Italian eSports Observatory, which went to investigate the psychographic profiles of typical consumers who use Twitch. One of the most interesting results with regard to Italy is that Milan is the first city in the country (followed by Rome and Naples) in terms of traffic. In truth, most of the Italian users are located in the North and, according to the data resulting from the research, they are very focused on civil rights and social issues.
For the first time, the affinity indicator was studied, which suggests the tastes and interests of Tiwtch’s audience when these are greater than the general Italian population. The data shows that the users of the purple platform are adrenaline-loving consumers, they have a strong orientation towards work and the management of one’s wealth, as well as a notable passion for sport and animals.
