With One Piece Netflix wants to rewrite the history of live-action adaptations, making it clear right away that it is a courageous project
The live-action One Piece is preparing to make its debut on Netflix, which has made it clear that it has done everything to avoid a flop and, indeed, aims to rewrite the history of adaptations by creating a product appreciable by fans and not . In fact, the live-action will debut on August 31st. What can we expect? The song is available on digital platforms now, with the rest of the new show’s soundtrack available on August 31, the same day the live-action debuts on the streaming platform. The composers Sonya Belousova and Giona Ostinelli they explained how “Wealth Fame Power!” reflects the bond between Gol D. Roger, the first Pirate King, and Monkey D. Luffy. The couple stated the following:
As soon as the swords are drawn and the crowd rushes in search of the ONE PIECE, we reverse Roger’s theme and introduce Luffy’s theme, the main theme of our show. Roger’s theme is all about the downward movement, as it is the end of the journey for Roger. Luffy’s theme, on the other hand, is all about the upward movement, as it is the beginning of his exciting journey to become the Pirate King.
