Bandai Namco Europe today announced the release date of One Piece Odyssey, the highly anticipated JRPG set in the universe of the Straw Hat Crew. The game will be released on January 13, 2023and will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S and PC (on Steam).
From today it is also possible to pre-order in various editions of the game. In addition to Standard Editionin fact, players can also choose the Deluxe Edition and exclusivity Collector Edition. The latter, in addition to the game, includes a figurine of Monkey D. Luffy and Lim.
What we know about One Piece Odyssey: out on January 13, 2022
The new game is obviously set in the world of One Piece, and will take the Straw Hat Crew to a new and mysterious island. Here the players will have to face powerful enemies and bosses in addicting turn-based combat. It will be possible to play with your favorite pirates: from Luffy to Zoro via Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky and Brook.
Speaking of these characters: the game will introduce a new chapter for these notorious pirates, with an original story and new protagonists (developed under the guidance of Eiichiro Oda, author of the series).
Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition and Collector’s Edition: here’s what changes
One Piece Odyssey arrives on the market on the occasion of 25 years of the original manga. The game will be available in the three versions already mentioned – all available for pre-order here – with the following differences:
- Standard Edition: includes the base game ONE PIECE ODYSSEY and a pre-order bonus (10 energy apples, 10 stimulant apples, 3 golden jellies, 100,000 berries and the travel outfit set).
- Deluxe Edition: includes the base game, the Deluxe Pack (two jewels, plus the Sniper King travel suit), the Adventure Expansion Pack (a set of Ultra Useful Accessories, an additional future story via DLC and 100,000 Berries) and the pre-order (10 energy apples, 10 stimulant apples, 3 golden jellies, 100,000 berries and the travel outfit set). The Deluxe Edition will be available in digital format only.
- Collector Edition: includes the contents of the Deluxe Editionan exclusive figure of Monkey D. Luffy and Lim (23x21x21 cm), the collector’s box, the metal case, 3 postcards dedicated to One Piece and the pre-order bonus (10 energy apples, 10 stimulating apples, 3 jellies coins, 100,000 Berries and the Travel Outfit Set).
