After a long wait, the first official trailer of Oppenheimer has finally arrived, the new film by Christopher Nolan in theaters in July 2023
One of the most anticipated films of 2023 finally shows itself with its first official trailer. Out in theaters next July 20th, we can take a first look at Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan’s latest effort. The film tells the story of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the man who changed the world forever by leading the famous Manhattan Project and the creation of the atomic bomb, then dropped by the Americans on the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 to end the Second World War. The film is based on the novel American Prometheus by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin and sees Cillian Murphy, one of Nolan’s loyalists, in the role of the protagonist. Let’s take a look, therefore, at the first trailer of the film.
Oppenheimer: valley trailer all saddles
We still have to wait, as mentioned, to finally be able to see Oppenheimer in cinemas. The trailer gives us a first look, opening with a great explosion and with the words of the protagonist. The fire is the great theme of a film that really promises sparks, thinking a lot about Oppenheimer’s controversial work, about the creation of a weapon capable of destroying the world, paradoxically used to stop a war that is already devastating that world.
Alongside Cillian Murphy we find a cast of the highest level, which can count on stars of the caliber of Emily Blunt (Kitty Oppenheimer), Matt Damon (Leslie Groves Jr.), Roberto Downey Jr. (Lewis Strauss) and Florence Pugh (Jean Tatlock), together with all another set of actors and actresses. A very ambitious project, certainly destined to be one of the most anticipated films of 2023.
Nolan’s twelfth film
Oppenheimer will be Christopher Nolan’s number 12 film, three years after Tenet and six years after Dunkirk, a film that brought the director his first Oscar nomination in the Best Director category.
