Oppo today announces its first tablet: Oppo Pad Airwhich has interesting features and a version of ColorOS for Pad designed for the larger screen. With a distinctive design and some useful software features, it promises a lot at a competitive price. Especially given the launch offer bundle.
Oppo Pad Air: features and price of the tablet
Oppo wanted to distinguish its first tablet immediately, giving it a very special design: two-tone and with metal joints. The back combines in fact a 3D texture with the Oppo Glow finish that we have seen in some of the brand’s smartphones. This should improve the grip on the tablet, as well as the sandblasted bottom finish, with grains of only 0.15mm for a shiny but not slippery look.
The weight is 440 grams and the 6.94 thick mm: great news for device portability. Inside there is a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 680, which should handle multitasking pretty well. There 7,100 mAh battery instead it guarantees, according to Oppo, up to 12 hours of video and 15 hours of videoconferencing.
The display 2K HD from 10.36 inches has passed the certification TÜV Rheinland and paired with the four speakers Dolby Atmos should ensure that you stream TV series and movies at their best.
Oppo has also developed a dedicated operating system called ColorOS for Pad, which adds gestures and functionality to Android. For example for the split screenby simply pinching app windows with two fingers. There are also multi-display functions to collaborate with Oppo smartphones, for example by dragging files from one device to another. For example, you can take a picture with your smartphone and edit it with your tablet.
