Orphan Black Echoes is the spin off of the Canadian TV series produced by AMC which starred Tatiana Maslany in all its five seasons. Echoes is set in the same universe as the original series and stars Krysten Ritter in a first season that will consist of ten episodes. Producer Jon Rutherford has announced that this will be just the first in a series of spin-offs that will build on the original series.

From the first released images of the set we can therefore see Krysten Ritter in action who will play Lucy, a woman with a difficult origin story and in search of her place in the world, together with a group of women she embarks on a very exciting journey in search of her history, its past and its identity. Showrunner will always be Anna Fishko and John Fawcett, creator of the original, will still be involved as director and executive producer, many signs of continuity with the main series.
Orpahn Black was a sci-fi series that ran for five seasons and had a very strong audience due to its quality and solid script as well. It followed the story of the protagonist, Sarah who discovers by chance that she is a clone generated in a laboratory with other sisters identical to her, scattered around the world and with different lives. A series that mixed action, suspense, many twists and extraordinary characters, each with her own story to tell that paralleled the horizontal plot.
Lo spin off that’s certainly good news, especially with a strong lead in Krysten Ritter and with the original producers of the series to handle the script and direction.
