What is the start date of Overwatch League 2022?

The information provided in the video in question are many (you can view it in full below, it lasts about 12 minutes): the first information to know is that the start date of the Overwatch League 2022 is scheduled for the next May 5th. There will be four tournaments throughout the season ahead of the playoffs: Kickoff Clash, Midseason Madness, Summer Showdown and Countdown Cup. To be precise, Kickoff Clash e Summer Showdown they will be regional tournaments, while, if all goes as planned, the plan is to organize Midseason Madness as a global tournament with a total of 12 teams (both East and West Division) who will compete in a double elimination group for a period of six days, with a prize pool of at least $ 1 million.

Teams will play a minimum of 24 games this season, compared to 16 last year. THE New York Excelsior they will return to play in the West Dvision, leaving seven teams in the East. The teams of the East Division they will play against each other once each cycle, while teams in the West Division will face each other twice in seeded matches throughout the season.
