14 titles of the legendary Pac-Man saga through all 42 years of the famous arcade’s life. This and more will be Pac-Man Museum +, available from Friday 27 May on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (with Xbox Play Anywhere support). In addition, the collection will be backwards compatible for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S, and included in the Xbox Game Pass catalog from day one. To learn more, read our dedicated article.
But this is certainly not the only novelty announced by the famous and iconic yellow ball.
Not only Muesum +: all the celebrations for the 42 years of Pac-Man
Pac-Man’s birthday celebrations aren’t limited to just the new game – quite the opposite. A song is released today, accompanied by its video clip called We are PAC-MAN! This is interpreted by Kaho Kidoguchi in Japanese and English and from Ann One in Chinese.
Also yesterday we already talked to you about how Pac-Man is about to arrive on Fortnite, with a series of themed cosmetic items. This collaboration will begin in-game, on Epic Games’ battle royale, starting June 2nd.
Other new features dedicated to the historic arcade are:
- PAC-MAN x EASTPAK: a series of bags, suitcases and cases available from 6 June at participating retailers.
- Sloggi will propose an autumn / winter themed collection that will be available in Europe and Asia.
- In Paris, the Yooma Urban Lodge Paris Tour Eiffel will be transformed into a game labyrinth thanks to immersive decorations placed in the entrance hall, in the courtyard and in the corridors.
- In Berlin, the Computerspielemuseum, which encourages everyone to replay history, can be reached by a PAC-MAN themed U-Bahn 5 train.
