The first season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians will be released in December, Disney has just released the Italian trailer for the series
Disney+ just announced the official Italian trailer of the new series Percy Jackson and the Olympians, the first small screen adaptation of the literary saga of the same name written by Rick Riordan. The first season will adapt the first book of the saga, The Lightning Thief, to the screen. The first episode is scheduled for next December 20th on the streaming platform. The series will tell the adventures of Percy Jackson, a 12-year-old demigod who has just been introduced to his semidivine origins, when Zeus, god of the sky, accuses him of having stolen his thunderbolt, that is, his master lightning. Which is why Percy will have to find him, crossing all of America and unmasking the real thief, so that he can restore order to Mount Olympus. In the new trailer we can admire the epic part of the story, but we also find the lightness and carefreeness that characterized the series of novels on Rick Riordan.

The series promises a greater fidelity to the original text. In fact, it seems that the first two episodes will feature Rick Riordan as co-writer along with Jon Steinberg. While James Bobin took care of the direction. The protagonists will be played by Walker Scobell, Aryan Simhadri and Leah Sava Jeffries.
