Discord is finally implementing the ability to connect the account PlayStation Network to the application. Right now, the integration is quite limited, but it is likely that it will update with more and more features in the near future. In addition to the partnership with Sony, Discord is also working on an interesting account management feature.
Discord e PlayStation Network
Linking accounts will allow friends on Discord to see which game a particular user is playing on their PlayStation, with the option to add their own ID PSN to the profile, so that players can find themselves online quickly and easily.
According to the announcement post, this new feature will be rolled out gradually to all users, so it may not be available to everyone right away. According to what was announced by the company, however, the functionality should be distributed throughout the United States by this week, while starting from the next it will be the turn of the rest of the world.
To connect your PSN ID to Discord just go to the entry User Settings and select Connections. If you find the PlayStation Network logo on this screen, just log in with your data to take advantage of the integration. As mentioned, however, it is likely that until the middle of next week we will not see this feature, unless the company decides to surprise us.
Connecting to PSN isn’t the only feature Discord is working on – the company is experimenting with an option that would allow you to easily switch between accounts, a feature many users want and likely to add in the coming months. . For the moment, however, we will have to settle for this integration, which was something the community had been clamoring for for quite some time anyway.
