During the PlayStation Showcase event aired tonight, Marvel’s Wolverine, developed by none other than Insomniac Games, was unexpectedly announced, complete with a teaser trailer.
We have followed for you the September event of Sony’s PlayStation Showcase live, to bring you all the news in real time directly from the stage. There were many news: from the unexpected teaser trailer of the remake of Knights of the Old Republic, to a new trailer for Forspoken, from God of War to Gran Turismo 7, the Sony event was full of interesting videos and announcements. . Among these, the rumored new title of Insomniac Games, which turned out to be none other than Marvel’s Wolverine in the end. The game is in development for the PlayStation 5 and the title seems to be just that.
The reveal on the stage of the PlayStation Showcase was pretty fast, with a short teaser trailer in which we see Wolverine wearing a cowboy hat sitting at a bar counter. A man approaches him from behind and, in response, Wolverine shows his identity by pulling out his blades. News on the PlayStation Blog reported that the game will be standalone and is directed by Brian Horton and Cameron Christian, the latter creative lead by Miles Morales.
