After the confirmation of non-participation in this year’s E3 by several big names (including Sony itself), and the consequent cancellation of the event, many were wondering when would there be news about the next games in development for the various platforms. Now, to the delight of PS users who have been waiting to find out about the plans for future upcoming titles, it is just now the news that a new PlayStation Showcase will be held just next week.

The event should be primarily focused on new titles in development for PS5 and PS VR 2and will be broadcast next Wednesday 24 May, 9pm BST (which should correspond to around 10pm for us). Through the press release made public on the site, the Japanese giant invites all fans to follow the event live, which will in fact be streamed on Twitch and Youtube platforms. We just have to wait for next week to find out what Sony has in store for us.
