There is great excitement, in these hours, for the opening of the 2022 edition of the European Pokémon International Championships. The competition, which we had already talked about in a previous article, will mainly be played on the Sword and Shield titles for Nintendo Switch (by the way, have you already read our special dedicated to the latest titles of pocket monsters and the immortal Beatles?). The tournament will see different coaches clash, including Italians, and will also be broadcast in streaming for anyone who wants to follow the developments.
The 2022 edition of the Pokémon European Championships has begun
As already mentioned, the 2022 edition of the Pokémon European Championships officially opens. This year’s competition will take place in the German city of Frankfurt and will end on Sunday 24 April. This event constitutes the first stage leading to the World Cup, which will be held in London in August (however, there will first be another stage which will take place from 24 to 26 June in Columbus, Ohio, North America). Some of the best pocket monster trainers from around the world will also take part in the championship, for a tournament that is therefore very exciting.
For all those interested who wish to follow the tournament here is some good news: the competition will be streamed on the Twitch channel of Cydonia and Chiara. If you are interested, the live events are on Friday 22 April from 08.30 to 18.30, Saturday 23 April from 08.30 to 18.30 and Sunday 24 April from 09.30. On this last day the final will be held, in which we will be able to meet the winner of this year’s edition.
