In fact, the current rules establish that it is the VerificationC19 App, issued by Ministry of Health, the only green certification verification app that can be used to ensure people’s privacy.

Several producers and developers, also from other countries, have made available on the online stores apps for the verification of the green pass that allow those who download them, framing the QR Code, to read personal data such as name, surname, date of birth, but even doses or swabs carried out. In some cases, apps also require a registration for download and transfer data to third parties.
The Data Protection Authority has warned all users against downloading these apps, which process data in violation of the provisions of the law, which establish that it is theApp VerificaC19, issued by the Ministry of Health, the only app for verifying green certifications that can be used to guarantee people’s privacy.
