If you are having problems with Microsoft One Drive and Skype, don’t worry because you are not alone: the servers have been down since this morning, January 2, 2023.
According to DownDetector, which collects reports from users regarding the downtime of the major online services, the disruptions began at 09:30 this morning. The peak of reports occurred exactly one hour later, at 10:30 and at the time of writing to you there are still problems for both services.
Microsoft One Drive down, problems and disruptions also for Skype
At the moment Skype it seems to be down only for some areas of the world, while in Italy the service does not report any particular problems. Microsoft One Drive, on the other hand, is unreachable from practically the entire boot. The main problems concern access to files in the cloud, connection to the website from the desktop and in general problems on the server that slow down the login processes.
Always Downdetector users also complain minor and less common issues on Microsoft Store and Microsoft Office 365 services. We can therefore deduce that problems relating to the company’s servers are causing the disservices. We will update you as soon as we have more details on this
