The new PS5 Cloud service will debut starting in October! Let’s find out the details together in this article
It finally arrives Cloud streaming support on PS5 in order to gain access to some titles included in the catalogue, to the various game trials and also to the various purchases made on the PS Store. The service will not be available to everyone, but only to users subscribe to PS Plus Premium allowing them to play their favorite titles without having to download anything on the PS5 console, the SLIM version of which was announced a few days ago. Additionally, users will also have the ability to save clips of up to 3 minutes in length to PS5 storage. The cloud launch is expected to take place on October 17 in Japanil October 23 in Europe and the October 30 for North America.
PS5 Cloud: technical features and games included
The service will debut with a list of games available, including some of the most important exclusives such as Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, Ghost of Tsushima. Other popular titles will also be included in the cloud service such as Mortal Kombat 11, Saints Row IV, Resident Evil 4, Dead Island 2, Genshin Impact, Fall Guys and Fortnite. Not only that, but users subscribed to the PS Plus Premium service will also have titles available to try such as Hogwarts Legacy, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and The Calisto Protocol. PlayStation streaming will be able to have a 4K, 1440p, 1080p or 720p resolution, with 60 FPS and SDR or HDR support and a 5.1 or 7.1 audio option and Audiotech Tempest 3D technology.
