Puzzle Quest 3 (PQ3) finally has a release date! The new chapter of the innovative puzzle-RPG franchise will be available free from 1 March 2022 on Steam, App Store and Google Play. Puzzle Quest 3 modernizes the popular series, offering a new take on the puzzle combat system. Players will enjoy the features 1-on-1 battles with new puzzle mechanics. The story of the game takes place 500 years after the original Puzzle Quest chapter, in the already known lands of Etheria. Here the heroes are called to save the kingdom from a new evil that threatens the race of dragons.
The newly released gameplay trailer shows five hero classes that will be in attendance at launch in March. Players will be able to play as Paladin, Berzerker, Shaman, Necromancer or Assassin to unleash powerful spells and defeat enemies in puzzle battles across the world of Etheria. The game draws on its famously articulated RPG mechanics and fantasy storylines that made the original a great success, with plans to continue introducing new classes and game content over time.
