In a few hours the 2022 edition of the Rainbow Six Siege PG Nationals will start: let’s discover together the rules, the prize money, but above all the competing teams
Despite the arrival of Rainbow Six Extraction and the announcement of Mobile, it continues to be evident to all fans of the sector that the flagship title of the Ubisoft series is always Rainbow Six Siege. And it is precisely in a few hours that Rainbow Six PG Nationals Spring 2022 will begin, the perfect representation of how the partnership between PG eSports and Ubisoft continues to be fundamental for the export tournament market. The tournament will start tomorrow, April 13th, and the first day will be broadcast entirely live on the official Rainbow6IT channelkicking off Ubisoft’s annual competitive shooter season.
Eight teams will compete on seven different maps (Bank, Chalet, Clubhouse, Coastline, Kafe Dostoyevsky, Oregon and Villa) in a first phase that will determine which teams will then move on to that of playoff, to be held starting June 20. To date, according to the official wiki rules, the final is scheduled for the month of August. The team that will win the final title of the PG Nationals Spring 2022 will be able to participate, as a representation of Italy, in the European Challenger League. The fundamental rule of this new split, which differentiates it from the previous editions of the PG Nationals, is that at least three out of five members of each team must be resident in our territory. A change that obviously led the teams to overturn and that allowed many players from the second division of the circuit, Be Serious, to take a leap forward.

The eight teams that will participate in PG Nationals Spring 2022 are as follows:
- Macko: the winners of the last Winter Split and who boast among their ranks the very young (and equally promising) Edoardo “T3b” Treglia
- Mkers: the only Italian team in history that has managed to enter the Six Invitational club to date
- Totem: a team born by drawing practically all members from Be Serious
- Hmble: team made up of players from the second division and others taken from other circuits
- Axolotl: from the Promotion Tournament
- IGP: veterans and present on the scene since the first Italian championship
- Outplayed: equally veterans, arrived in the Top 4 in the first edition of the PG Nationals
- eSport Empire: team made up of 100% Be Serious players
