Packaging, build quality and materials | realme 11 Pro 5G review
Let’s start from the package, rich and equipped, in fact we will find inside the67W power supply with relative USB-C cable and a highly appreciated one transparent cover silicone. The smartphone is equipped with simple and minimal lines, on the back we find a showy and elegant porthole used for the photographic sector. Realme 11 Pro 5G is made entirely of polycarbonate, a smart choice to lower costs but which at the same time makes the smartphone lighter and more resistant (therefore there is no IP68 water and dust certification).
On the sides of the device we will then find the volume rocker, the power button, the input USB Type-C, the tray for the SIM and the lower and upper audio speakers. As mentioned, on the back we find a large camera module with only two sensors inside and an LED flash. Finally, frontally a panel with well-optimized 6.7 ″ frames with a punch-hole style camera, small and unobtrusive.
Hardware, connectivity and displays | realme 11 Pro 5G review
On the hardware front, realme 11 Pro 5G is driven by the brand new Mediatek Dimensity 7050 (at 6nm) combined with 8 GB of RAM (virtually expandable by another 8 GB) and 256 GB of storage memory. The result is excellent performance, sometimes subject to the famous throttling phenomenon (especially in overheating situations, which could occur).
However, where realme 11 Pro 5G leaves its mark is in the quality of the curved front panel, truly exceptional. Thanks to the generous dimensions of 6.7″, 120 Hz and al PMW Dimming on ben 2160Hz using this display will be really pleasant, moreover the TÜV Rheinland certification will help you not to tire your eyes too much (we assure you that the benefits are definitely noticeable). Fair peak brightness, which reaches up to 1000 nits. Then the connectivity is very good, with Bluetooth 5.2 and a good data signal and GPS. Finally, the audio sector is also of a level, with a dual stereo speakers with good volume and quality, especially in relation to the price range.
Cameras | realme 11 Pro 5G review
Realme has equipped this realme 11 Pro 5G with two sensors, a good 100 MP optically stabilized main camera and a 2 MP Macro that leaves a little time as it finds (an ultra-wide camera would have been more welcome). The videos go up to 4K a 30 FPS. Among the various features we find slow-motion in 720p and 1080p, panorama, time-lapse, pro, 100 MP, portrait, night and street (for the so-called street photography).
The camera 100MP main gives good shots in all light conditions. Furthermore, thanks to the collaboration with Lonely Planet it will now be possible to do good level street photography, above all thanks to the inclusion of numerous pre-installed filters and the possibility (thanks to the numerous megapixels) of carrying out a 2x lossless zoom. Very useful is theOIS which allows good stabilization, even in the case of video recording. Finally, the front camera is excellent, with particularly sharp and detailed shots.
Software and autonomy | realme 11 Pro 5G review
The software on board is the Realme UI 4.0 based on ColorOS 13 based in turn on Android 13. The platform is stable and well cared for, with pleasing animations in every aspect of the interface. There are widgets and enlarged folders, comfortable in daily use. The autonomy with at least a full day of heavy use or two of milder use thanks to the capacious module from 5000 mAh with 67W fast wired charging. Small negative note for the bloatware, really too many on first start-up and ranging between apps of dubious utility and oriental-style games.
Conclusions and price
Realme 11 Pro 5G reconfirms the quality of realme devices from every point of view, with a complete device capable of satisfying almost all users. List price starts from 379,99€ for the 8/128GB version up to i 399,99€ for the 8/256GB variant (however there is an activeintroductory offer at €369.99) in the Sunrise Beige and Astral Black colours.
