Realme C67 review: reliable and with Android 14!

Packaging, build quality and materials | realme C67 review

Let’s start once again from the packaging, rich and equipped, we will find the powerful inside 33W power supply with relative USB-C cable and an always appreciated one transparent cover made of silicone. The smartphone has simple and minimal lines, on the back we find two photographic modules well emphasized by the golden finishes, and slightly protruding given the very reduced general thickness. Realme C67 is made entirely in polycarbonatea smart choice to lower costs but which at the same time makes the smartphone lighter and more resistant (IP54 certification is still present).

On the sides of the device we will then find the volume rocker, the power button with fingerprint sensor integrated, the entrance USB Type-C (2.0 type), the tray for the SIM and the speaker audio lower mono. As mentioned, on the back we find a dual camera and an LED flash. Finally, on the front, a panel with well-optimized (although not symmetrical) 6.7″ frames with a style camera punch-holesmall and certainly not invasive.

Hardware, connectivity and display | realme C67 review

On the hardware front, realme C67 brings with it the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 (at 6nm) combined with 8 GB of RAM (virtually expandable by another 8 GB) and 256 GB of storage memory, in our configuration. The result is decent performance, certainly more than sufficient for the reference range, but which does not allow easy gaming (at least of demanding 3D titles). However, in standard conditions, it is right to point out the total absence of overheating.

The front panel is also good, with a generous diagonal 6,7” and a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz. Unfortunately, display technology remainsIPS LCD (in the same price range many other manufacturers now offer organic matrix panels) with rather bright colors and a satisfactory, albeit not perfect, pixel uniformity, especially on the edges.

This time, however, there was a small leap forward on the display, which now reaches a peak nits equal to 950, very good for outdoor visibility and viewing multimedia content. Connectivity is also good, with NFC and a good data and GPS signal. Finally, without infamy and without praise, the audio sector, with one lower mono speaker with adequate volume and quality for the price range.

Cameras | realme C67 review

Realme has equipped this realme C67 with two sensors, a good one main 108 MP 1/1.67″ Samsung and a 2 MP, this time not macro but black and white, in our opinion equally useless. Among the various features integrated into the smartphone we find slow-motion, panorama, time-lapse, pro, 108 MP, portrait, night and street.

The camera 108 MP main It offers good quality shots, especially outdoors. Naturally, the quality tends to drop in the darkest hours or in dimly lit interiors, where however the realme C67 makes a patch with the good night mode, which uses a well-established software algorithm. However, we have noticed a flaw at the hardware level, which persists under various conditions: the lens flaresometimes too intrusive.

In any case, the advertised quality is at a good level zoom in-sensor 3x(although the camera app does not show a quick shortcut to the aforementioned zoom but to a more generic 5x) which takes advantage of the high resolution of the sensor to bring the subject closer without losing quality.

Software and autonomy | realme C67 review

The software on board is the Realme UI based on the latest version of Android in circulation, number 14. The platform is stable and well maintained, with pleasant animations in every aspect of the interface, despite lacking some intuitive gestures (such as swiping downwards to recall the notification curtain). However, there are widgets and enlarged folders, which are convenient for daily use. In this regard it is interesting to note the evolution of Mini Capsulenow at version 2.0, which integrates a greater number of functionssuch as music, events, weather or daily steps.

On the other hand, autonomy is very good, with often two full days of heavy use or more for light use, thanks to the large module 5000 mAh with 33W wired fast charging. Small (usual) negative note for bloatware when turned on, which we also find here and which range between apps of dubious usefulness and uninteresting games.

Conclusions and price

Realme C67 reconfirms the excellent balance of realme devices, with a complete device capable of satisfying almost all users. List price starts from 219,99€ (with an introductory offer from 6 to 12 February a 159,99€) for the version from 6/128GB and arrives at 239,99€ (with introductory offer of 199,99€) for the variant 8/256GB.

Therefore, considering the excellent user experience guaranteed by the device, we can only recommend the purchase of this smartphone if what you are looking for is an excellent quality-price ratio.
