Barcelona – On the occasion of Mobile World Congress 2023, realme has globally launched the new realme GT3, the flagship smartphone with the latest technology and the fastest charging in the world. With the GT series, realme has stood out for its technological innovations, amazing design and speed, both in the execution of processes and in charging. Now realme raises the bar even further and presents the first smartphone with 240W fast charging. The realme GT3 battery and its incredible fast charging
The spearhead of the new realme GT3 is certainly the support for 240W fast charging, the most powerful ever used in a smartphone. Thanks to this new standard, we will be able to say goodbye to the anxiety of running out of battery at the end of the day. The battery recharging process is in fact reduced to historic lows. It takes 80 seconds to charge the realme GT3 by 20% while it takes 9 minutes and 30 seconds to fill the 4600mAh battery from 0 to 100%.
As the first brand in the industry to mass-produce 240W fast charging, realme has brought about a complete revamp in all areas, from charging safety to battery longevity and accessory compatibility:
- Three industry-leading charging technologies – realme GT3 features three level charging chipsets working together with improved transfer efficiency of 98.5%. Furthermore, realme GT3 is equipped with a customized 12A cable, which provides the highest charging current input in the industry. Finally, realme offers dual GaN charging technology, which includes an end-to-end GaN chipset in both the phone and the adapter. As a result, despite having 60% more power available, the 240W adapter is still smaller than the 150W one
- Maximum charging safety – realme GT3 is equipped with a 6580 mm2 VC liquid cooling system covering 61.5% of the battery for excellent heat dissipation. To ensure maximum safety, the realme GT3 also includes a PS3 fireproof design, 13 temperature sensors and 60 levels of protection. In addition, realme GT3 is the first phone above 200W to be certified by TÜV Rheinland for safe fast charging.
- Worry-free battery longevity. According to internal laboratory tests, realme GT3 has a duration of 80% after more than 1600 recharge cycles with 240W activated, more than double the industry standard. Also, GT3 uses the smart chargingwhich allows to detect the mode used by the user and automatically adapt the charging mode, thus switching from travel mode to rest or car mode, this to preserve the health of the battery and avoid overcharging
Pulse Interface Design
In addition to the incredible power of 240W, the realme GT3 pushes smartphone design to new heights. In fact, in the back, we find a translucent window next to the camera module that shows the chipset Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, un chipset NFC, e l’innovativo Pulse Interface System with a C-shaped RGB lighting ring.
Inspired by the world of gamingil Pulse Interface Design di realme GT3 show different light effects depending on the state of the phone. When the phone is charged to 20%, for example, it shows a red color light effect, when it is charged from 21% to 100%, it lights up purple, when you receive notifications, the lighting system turns white, and so on. Obviously the Pulse Interface is customizable and adds a fun and interactive detail to the phone. By accessing Settings > Backgrounds & Design > Breathing Light, you can choose from 25 color tones, 2 flash types and 5 lighting speed modes for a unique style.
