Realme Mini Capsule, video of the answer to Dynamic Island
It seems that Realme is working on the world’s first Android phone with “Dynamic Island”, the feature seen on the models Apple iPhone 14 Pro. According to reports from SmartPrix, it will be narrower and longer than seen on the iPhone.
A confirmation comes from Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme, tweeted about a new feature called “Mini Capsule”, which will debut on Realme’s upcoming C-series smartphones. However, the tweet was later deleted. Smartprix e OnLeaks they got access to a video showing the feature here – you can find it Who.
The video however demonstrates that the chances are less than what was seen on the Apple device. The video explains that Realme in its “dynamic island” only shows the status and the percentage of recharge.
The video shows the charging status indicated and the colors changing as the phone charges from 0 to 100%. Knowing lao the battery percentage and wattage is already something interesting, but the potential of this Mini Capsule could be much higher – and maybe it really will be when Realme officially announces it.
At the moment it doesn’t look like it will show though notifications and background apps – for that kind of change perhaps Google’s collaboration is needed directly in the Android code.
What do you think about it? Do you think that Dynamic Island is really needed on an Android smartphone? Let us know in the comments.
