According to Counterpoint data, in fact, the brand recorded a record Q2 of 2021, which ended with the sixth position in this special ranking. In just three years, realme has become a reference brand in the smartphone sector and its growth does not seem to stop in any way.
Record numbers for realme: it is the sixth smartphone manufacturer in the world
During the Q2 of 2021, according to Counterpoint data, realme has registeredor 15 million smartphones shipped around the world. This is a record figure that translates into year-on-year growth of +135%. For the brand, this achievement rewards the work done over the last few years.
Today, realme is expanding into 61 markets around the world and has entered the Top 5 Manufacturers in 18 markets. realme also ranks first in the Philippines and Bangladesh, fourth in India and Russia and fifth in Europe during Q2 2021. The next goal will be to enter the Top 5 which includes Samsung, Xiaomi, Apple, OPPO and Vivo.
An unstoppable growth
