Netflix gives us a new universe in which to travel between one galaxy and another in a vast and mysterious universe: here is the trailer for Rebel Moon – Daughter of Fire, Zack Snyder’s new interstellar film
Among the many surprises that Netflix gave us at Geeked Week 2023, there is a new universe to explore. Born from the mind of Zack Snyder, already director of another Netflix production, Army of the Dead, starring Dave Bautista. The first official trailer for Rebel Moon – Daughter of Fire throws us into a new universe by introducing us to the first part of the film. The director tells us that the film has the same vibes as Star Wars, only with sex scenes and more violence. Originally, in fact, the film was supposed to be made for Lucasfilmbut Snyder ultimately executed the idea on Netflix’s behalf.

The protagonist of this first part is Sofia Boutellabut in the cast we find other high caliber actors such as Charlie Hunnam, Djimon Hounsou, Ray Fisher, Anthony Hopkins. The rest of the cast includes Ed Skrein, Michiel Huisman, Doona Bae, Jena Malone, Staz Nair, E. Duffy, Charlotte Maggi, Cleopatra Coleman, Cary Elwes, Corey Stoll and Sky Yang. Snyder is directing and also the screenplaythe latter in collaboration with Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad. Snyder, Deborah Snyder and Wesley Coller are producing for The Stone Quarry, along with Eric Newman of Grand Electric. Sarah Bowen will serve as executive producer.
The first part of the film will have the protagonist Kora, a mysterious girl with an enigmatic past who, after crashing on the moon, integrates into a population of honest farmers. The girl will be their only salvation when the tyrant Regent Balisarius and his emissary Admiral Noble they will realize that the farmers have unwittingly sold their harvest to the Bloodaxe, leader of a group of fierce rebels. Kora, together with a tender-hearted farmer, Gunnar, will go in search of noble fighters willing to sacrifice their lives for the people of Vendt. The film will be released on Netflix on December 22, 2023while the second part will arrive on April 19, 2024.
