What we will talk about today is a real icon of the videogame world. More than 40 years after its appearance on Japanese cabin cruisers, PAC-MAN it is certainly an emblem of the history of the video game. First 4 Figureson the occasion of the 40th anniversary, it decided to launch the PAC-MAN PVC Statue (Exclusive Edition) limited to 3000 pieces!

The packaging
As usual, First 4 Figures get us used to high-level packaging, and here too we have confirmation. As you can see, we have a box in the box, both of which are really cool and ready to display too. In the back there is a ‘USB-C input and an LED indicator, while on the bottom we have the door to insert a rechargeable battery (not included), the on and off button, as well as the number of our limited edition.
But what are the various inputs and the switch for? Of course to operate the lighting effects of the statue. The plastic mirror actually simulates an “infinite mirror”. Once turned on, the various balls of which PAC-MAN is greedy will appear on the back, and some effects on the sides, emulating a sort of infinite path.
This is definitely a cute addition, but not that amazing. Perhaps we would have appreciated more some LEDs scattered in the base, as in other figures of the same company. Also because, once seen from the front, we will hardly notice the various luminous spheres.

Speaking of the model and the painting, everything is perfect. The base is light and has rounded corners. Being empty inside, it does not allow to have a feedback of maximum solidity, going to flex a bit if we press up. The details are obviously all printed, but there is no smudging of color. The word “READY” on the front is slightly raised. The bar on which the protagonist is placed is solid and, even when rotated, there is no fragility. The PAC-MAN model is very precise as are the details of the eyes and mouth, all perfectly finished.
In addition to the statue, there is also one included in the package card that ensures us of theauthenticity of the product, as well as the number of our copy. In addition, we have two small modular banners it’s a USB-C cable: very popular extras.

However, it did not at all give us the impression that PAC-MAN is about to eat the spheres precisely because the viewing angle is really limited.
