The Red Bull RB17, scheduled for 2026, will be equipped with a V10 engine and will have performances worthy of the name it bears: let’s find out all the details!

The Red Bull RB17 promises to be a car with absolutely amazing characteristics uncommon. Created to rival Mercedes even outside the F1 circuits, it will be equipped with all the best technology directly derived from the world of racing. The project of this hypercar was first announced in 2022 but now its arrival is certain and the rumors regarding the technical characteristics they follow one another.

Obviously for the moment it is not possible to anticipate anything regarding this aesthetics, which should however follow that of its rival Mercedes AMG One. As regards the mechanical part, we can already say that it will be equipped with a real F1 engine and will give the few lucky owners the same emotions as a racing car. All obviously with some sacrifices regarding general comfort of march.

The Red Bull RB17 will be equipped with a powerful 1,000 HP naturally aspirated V10 of power, capable of reaching even 15,000 rpm and further enhanced by the presence of an electric motor which provides altri 200 extra hp. The overall weight of the car will however be very low, remaining within the limit of 900 kg: a fact of absolute importance, especially if combined with aerodynamics which, by anticipation of the company itself, will be among the most effective ever imagined and with a maximum downforce of 1,700 kg at 241 km/h.

The cockpit of the Red Bull RB 17 will only be able to accommodate two people, with few concessions in terms of comfort. The guide will be very safe and efficient thanks to an active suspension system and special Michelin tires. The car is practically already completed in all its details but 2024 will be a crucial year to execute lots of tests before marketing.

They will be only 50 examples were made, at a cost of over 5 million euros, excluding taxes. All that remains is to wait for the summer for the presentation of a static model and to find out if the car will also be approved for road use.
