According to a rumor, the exclusive Xbox and PC Redfall, in development at Arkane Studios (responsible for Deathloop), could be the victim of a postponement
Only a few months have passed since the launch of the lucky and celebrated Deathloop, but that’s not why Arkane Studios seems to have plans to sit idle. The team, in fact, is currently also busy on Redfall, one exclusive shooter for Xbox and PC consoles which, according to a recent rumor, could be victim of yet another postponement of the videogame industry. Originally announced for release next summer, if the rumor is confirmed, we will have to wait a few more months before getting our hands on the team’s latest effort.
Redfall at risk of postponement?
To throw the stone we thought one of the last episodes of podcast Defining Dukes, within which the YouTuber MrMattyPlays e Lord Cognito have stated that, according to their very personal sources, the title in question will no longer see the light during the summer of 2022. Also according to the duo, the new production exit window would suffer a slippage of a few months, with the launch that will be officially postponed to upcoming Christmas holidays.
The news, as always in these cases, at the moment there is no official confirmation, but if we consider that there are really a few months left until the summer period, and that with the exception of the announcement (and some other leaks), we still know very little about Redfall, it cannot be ruled out that what the two YouTubers have confirmed may conceal some foundation of truth. It would certainly not be the first case of postponements of which this 2022 is also a victim, as evidenced by the postponement of STALKER 2, but in any case we at TechGameWorld.com will not fail to keep you updated on any developments.
