The June 2023 market
Getting to the heart of the data. The sixth month of the year marks a growth of 4,84% compared to the same period of the previous year.
Con 42,839 vehicles placed on the market. In June, scooters drove sales, thanks to an increase of 1.57% equal to 23,592 vehicles registered. The performance of the motorbikes is also good, appearing a +5.13% and 16,932 registered vehicles. After two positive months, also due to the negative trend in the electricity market, mopeds suffered a heavy setback: 2,315 units corresponding to a decrease of 35.87%.
First semester 2023
The first six months of the year show double-digit growth in the two-wheeler market: +16,88% e 201,922 pieces sold. Of great importance is the performance of the scooters, which collect a quarter of the volumes more than the first half of 2022 (+24.93%) and license plates of 102,470 mezi. A the increase in motorbikes was also double-digit: +13.10% and 89,450 unitswhile i mopedsdue to four negative months during the year, stop at -14.14% and 10,002 vehicles placed on the market.
Quadricycles
The performance of the minicar sector was also excellentwhich in June marks an increase of 16,31% with 1,305 vehicles sold, while the growth in the first six months of the year is more contained, due to some monthly rents in negative territory: overall the first half records 6,868 units equal to a growth of 3,28%. The quadricycles sector is driven by electric vehicles (58.2% of the entire market), which up to June are still growing by 17.93%, equal to 3,999 units.
Electricity market
After two months of growth, the electric two-wheeler market stops in Junewhich puts on the road only 1,600 vehicles, against 3,541 in 2022 (which however incorporated some orders partly responsible for the unfavorable comparison), equal to a drop of 54.82%. The results for the semester were also negative, recording a drop of 20.38% and 7,237 units.
