During the Sony State of Play, which took place last night, we saw the new gameplay trailer of Resident Evil 4. The clip showed us not only the phases of the game, but also the new locations and enemies that we will have to face at the time of its release, scheduled for March 24, 2023.
Capcom also confirmed that The Mercenaries mode will return as free DLC after the game’s release.
Resident Evil 4: il trailer del Sony State of Play
In the trailer, the third official of the game, we witness Leon S. Kennedy as he explores multiple new environments. We also see an exchange with Jack Krauser and much more.
The game will follow the escape of Leon and Ashley Graham from a small enslaved European village of Las Plagas. The two will have to explore multiple settings dominated by the cult of Los Illuminados. Through a sprawling castle, crumbling mines, and more, they’ll encounter even more infected villagers, deranged cultists, and insidious enemies powered by the Las Plagas parasite. Leon and Ashley will therefore be called upon to face a whole series of enemies, as well as having to solve the mysteries that lie behind the arcane designs of the hidden mechanisms. Between esoteric puzzles and dangers always around the corner, the path to salvation intersects with the life of Major Jack Krauser, the calculating special forces agent.
