In the new Resident Evil 4 Remake trailer it is possible to get a taste of the locations, enemies and gameplay as well as having info on the release of the official demo
During the latest PlayStation State of Play, Capcom unveiled exciting new details about the upcoming release of Resident Evil 4. The latest trailer gave viewers a taste of Leon S. Kennedy as he explores multiple new environments, an edgy exchange with Jack Krauser and so on! In addition to these gameplay details, the trailer also announced an upcoming demo for Resident Evil 4 and due out soon and confirmed that “The Mercenaries” mode will return as free DLC after launch. The game will be available on March 24, 2023 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.

During their harrowing escape from a small European slave village of Las Plagas, Leon and Ashley Graham must navigate multiple environments controlled by the cult of The illuminated. Through a sprawling castle, crumbling mines, and more, they encounter even more infected villagers, deranged cultists, and insidious enemies powered by the Las Plagas parasite. Leon and Ashley have to deal with these enemies by also deciphering the arcane designs of the hidden mechanismsesoteric puzzles and tantalizing secrets.
The duo’s path to safety also intersects with calculating Special Forces agent Major Jack Krauser. The trailer also heralded some exciting experiences for fans who eagerly await the release of Resident Evil 4 and for those who want to have fun even after completing the main campaign. Special Agents looking for more challenges in Resident Evil 4 will be thrilled to know that the prolific challenge mode “The Mercenaries” will also be returning as free post-launch DLC. More information on release times for the demo and “The Mercenaries” DLC will be shared at a later date. In addition to the Standard Edition of Resident Evil 4, a “Deluxe Edition” is now available for pre-order.
The Deluxe Edition includes additional game content, including costumes, weapons, a treasure map and more. Those who pre-order the Standard Edition will receive in-game rewards, including “Golden Briefcase” and “Charm: Pistol Ammo”, while pre-orders of the Deluxe Edition also include “Classic Briefcase” and “Charm: Green Plant”. These customization items offer specific in-game abilities when equipped.
